Angels and Demons, King Solomon binds the demon Ornias

Ornias is a shapeshifting vamparizing demon that lives in the constellation of Aquarius, and strangles men born under the sign of Aquarius because they have passion for women born under the sign of Virgo. In this account King Solomon binds the demon Ornias by the power of the names of The Seven Hebrew Gods. Here is the full account.

According to rabbinical texts, during the construction of the temple of Solomon Ornias comes at sunset and takes half the masters wages and food. He sucks out the soul of a young boy through his right thumb. The boy started to grow thin and Solomon asked him why he grew thin? Then the boy told Solomon about Ornias. Solomon became infuriated and begs God for help, and was given a magical ring by the archangel Michael that will give him power over demons.

Solomon gave the ring to the boy and instructs him to fling it at the demon’s chest when he next appears and order him to go Solomon. When Ornias next appears, as a flaming fire, the boy does as Solomon instructed him. Ornias screams and promises to give the boy all the gold and silver on earth if he will give the ring back to Solomon. But the boy binds the demon and delivers him to Solomon.

King Solomon captured and chained the demon and interrogated him and learned that Ornias is descended from an archangel, and he is thwarted by the archangel Uriel. King Solomon puts Ornias to work to cut stone to build his temple. Ornias is terrified of iron, so he begs Solomon for a measure of freedom and promises to call up other demons. King Solomon summoned up Uriel, who then forces Ornias to cut stones to build the temple of Jerusalem.

When the work was completed Solomon ordered Ornias to fetch the prince of demons, and he returned with the demon Beelzebub. Ornias has the gift of prophesy and explained to Solomon that demons fly up to heaven, where they overhear Gods plans. Those demons that become exhausted by doing so become falling stars.
